Ghanaian singer Titi Owusu releases ‘Pray for Me’ featuring Nigerian rising star Moelogo: Listen

Some weeks ago through the famed record producer Jayso, ‘Pray for Me’ featuring Moelogo made it way to me in advance. Upon the first listen, the Africa-based Titi Owusu immediately reminded me of Beyoncé from her vocal range, tone and delivery, and subject matter (before marriage to JAY-Z). In her verse, she questions her lover to know if he’s in it for the long haul and if his love is unconditional. Moelogo, portraying and bringing the male perspective to the record, replies in the song with assurance to her inquiries in English and his native tongue. Listen to the new track below. Let me know if you agree or disagree.
