Stormzy and Raye recreate iconic pop culture moments for ‘The Weekend’: Watch
Yesterday, British stars Stormzy and Raye released the nostalgic visual for ‘The Weekend’. From the start of the video, a couple shows public displays of affection, bare-chested men play on the basketball court, and girls enjoy the warm weather by chatting and admiring the guys on the streets. Pulling inspiration from Dancehall giant Beenie Man and Mya’s 1996 ‘Girls Dem Sugar’ and showing homage to Amelia Dimoldenberg’s hilarious Chicken Shop Date interviews, it’s a must-see.
