Appearing in several looks as the days slip away, Sinead Harnett makes the best of it in her new video for ‘Quarantine Queen’. Its opening and its lyrics are candid, which expresses what most of our thoughts and feelings. Not knowing what’s next, or what the world will be when the lockdown lifts, it is natural to wonder. Yes, the world as we knew it is over, but it doesn’t mean we cannot continue to live. To the creators who will watch this and potentially become emotional, you aren’t alone. There’s a possibility that if you create a path for yourself during these times, you will be able to make it out of this sane and better off. Try not to give up when it’s so easy to right now. Feeling regret for not doing that thing you kept putting off is normal, and we cannot dwell on lost time, but our forward-thinking and movements should factor in what we can not get back in this lifetime. For that reasoning alone, we owe it to ourselves to be better than we were and triumph in the new world.
