Nigerian music sensation Oxlade has released his highly anticipated EP ‘Eclipse’, via Troniq. The project is a follow-up to ‘DKT’ and his debut EP ‘Oxygene’ which was released in 2020.
The new 4-track EP, produced solely by top Nigerian producer Coublon, conveys otherworldly love stories and includes the charming new single ‘Ojuju’ – which showcases his amazing blend of Afrobeat, Country and R&B influences, as well as his distinctive, mesmerizing vocals, and captivating songwriting, which have earned him lots of fans around the world and helped him amass an impressive 100 million plus streams since his debut in 2017.
Speaking on the new EP ‘Eclipse’, Oxlade said:
An eclipse occurs when two celestial bodies are involved. This love story is the result of two godlike creatures falling in love and that love story if completed would be the most powerful force in the universe. Sadly not all love stories have a happy ending.
