Melania Trump denies any relationship with Jeffrey Epstein
The First Lady calls allegations “false and defamatory” in rare White House statement.

First Lady Melania Trump has publicly denied ever having a relationship with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, calling circulating claims “false and defamatory.”
Speaking in a rare statement from the White House, Trump said the allegations linking her to Epstein “need to end”, firmly rejecting any suggestion of personal involvement. She clarified that she never had a relationship with Epstein or his associate Ghislaine Maxwell, describing any past contact as minimal and limited to “casual correspondence”.
Trump also addressed speculation about her past, stating she was not introduced to her husband through Epstein and had no knowledge of his criminal activities. She emphasised, “I am not Epstein’s victim”, underscoring her effort to shut down ongoing rumours.
The statement comes amid renewed scrutiny surrounding Epstein’s network and connections to high-profile figures, as public interest in the case continues years after his 2019 death.
