Jennifer Lopez cancels Summer tour amid alleged poor ticket sales

Instagram

Today, Jennifer Lopez announced the cancellation of her Summer tour. In a message posted to her website on May 31, the star released an official statement saying, “I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely neccessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…”

Alongside the message from Live Nation about her wanting to “spend time with her children, family and close friends” and alleged low ticket sales, it is reported that Jennifer Lopez and her husband, Ben Affleck, are having marital troubles. According to multiple reports, the now-cancelled tour was supposed to run from June through August. Her latest album, ‘This Is Me… Now’, came out in February. Reportedly, all Ticketmaster ticket holders will automatically receive a refund. All third-party ticketholders will have to contact the resale sites for further information.
