If you’re as stressed out as I am, you can appreciate the easy breezy mixes by the New York-based disc jockey Jada La Reign. I didn’t know about her before today. Her latest mixes include “Peach Fuzz” and “Tangerine,” and were released less than six months ago. I enjoyed hearing my favourite tracks by Busta Rhymes, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Nemo Achida and MoRuf. In May, she and DJ9AM were featured on a Discwoman podcast for the Lot Radio.
If you’re in New York City this weekend, see her, DJ9AM, Dirty Deity, and Germany “Sn@p” Lancaster at Black Bear Bar in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This event will mark the launch of Sound Garden, a showcase in affiliation with The High End Agency For a description of the showcase, visit the event page on Facebook.
Since I have your attention, here are my fave tracks / mixes by each performer. Special thanks to Sn@p for the invitation.
