Detroit-native fashion designer Ali Rose makes clothes for the creative woman (or feminine human) who appreciates a simple muted palette. From her tops to outerwear, unique silhouettes are prevalent. Each garment is minimal, well-crafted, and does not stray from the designer’s high-quality standard.
Ali Rose is a free-thinker and does not believe in producing within confines of seasons, making each run more like capsule collections. They are made to wear anytime, and actively promotes her transitional design point-of-view. You can see examples of this in the digital look book where knitwear pairs with dresses and jackets. Ali Rose’s turtleneck sweater is made up of luxurious Italian cotton. Quick-drying stretch fiber is used to make the turtleneck knit dress. The Meredith Single Button Coat is a collector’s item, as a daily wardrobe staple or an elegant evening coat. Prices range from $800-4500.
Rose is a Parsons School of Design graduate and based in New York City. There isn’t much information about her online yet, but I found that she is passionate about encouraging artisan and community collaborations, rethinking sustainability and the full life cycle of garments, exploration of design systems and vertically integrated design, and supporting work conditions that care for the mental and physical health of the fashion community.
