On the first of the month, British Hip-Hop star Headie One released the deluxe version of ‘MMM’—‘MMM (Bonus Tracks)’. On the opening track (’Monday Marathon’), he shares a story about the time someone wanted him to change his flow. The star-studded bonus edition runs under forty minutes and is fourteen tracks. For the popular lead single ‘Turnt to a Target’ with one million plus plays, he confesses how hard it is to be an artist. Perhaps the vulnerability on that record is what pulls him closer to fellow artists: legendary, established and aspiring, alike.
On the outstanding lineup are Nemzzz, Turbo, Luciano, Sampha, Digga, Abra Cadabra, and M Huncho, trading bars and adding vocals to the Tottenham-born UK Drill legend’s work.
Stream ‘MMM (Bonus Tracks)’ below and enjoy what’s left of your weekend. Its production quality is wonderful, in my opinion.
