Hailing from Nigeria, Deo is no stranger to craftily experimenting with his sound. As an artist, he’s dabbled in various genres such as Hip-Hop and traditional Afrobeats. Now, he has forayed into the Drill corner of Hip-Hop and the result is this fire record. The song has all the traditional intoxicating elements of a track of its kind–fire beat, catchy melody, quotable lyrics. I find myself repeating randomly ‘turn a milli to a billi’. That line is stuck with me for good now. This one is for the smokers, Deo himself proclaiming to have been ‘high on life’ when making the record.
