Dame Dash claims Cam’ron and Ma$e’s bond is strictly business
The Roc-A-Fella co-founder reignites tensions with Cam’ron after calling his partnership with Ma$e on ‘It Is What It Is’ transactional.

Dame Dash is not holding back when it comes to Cam’ron and Ma$e’s working relationship. In a new interview with ‘The Art of Dialogue’, the former Roc-A-Fella Records executive claimed the pair’s connection on ‘It Is What It Is’ is more business than brotherhood.
According to Dash, Cam’ron allegedly hesitated to do the sports-talk show with Ma$e at first. However, he says money changed the conversation. Dash claimed Cam’ron later agreed once he realised how profitable the platform could become. He also suggested Ma$e understands the arrangement as a business move, not a restored friendship.
The remarks arrive during a fresh wave of tension between Dash and Cam’ron. Recently, Cam’ron’s awkward exchange with Kevin Hart about Dash went viral, which appeared to reignite their long-running feud. Dash has also criticised Cam’ron’s sports media career, taking issue with the rapper’s move into sports commentary.
Still, ‘It Is What It Is’ has become a major cultural platform. Whether their relationship is personal or professional, Cam’ron and Ma$e continue to turn Hip-Hop history into must-watch conversation.
Excellent explanation, thanks!
