Two women in music of Jamaican and English heritage make it official on wax.

Nia Archives, Jorja Smith - Get Me Down

To our delight, Nia Archives shared the official music video for ‘Get Me Down’ on Friday. It is the first time the creative pair has worked together in this capacity. In 2023, the Bradford-native producer-DJ remixed Jorja Smith’s ‘Little Things’, which earned coverage from musical tastemakers and fans. The R&B singer-songwriter wore a short striped dress paired with white boots. Posing alongside her, Nia Archives dons a light blue wig, a matching dress and shiny black boots. The fun, bubbly track is part of her forthcoming album titled ‘Emotional Junglist’. It will be released on July 17. Watch the music video below, directed by Jay Douglas.

Before you get out of here, you should know Jorja Smith plans to release her next album ‘What Are the Odds’ on August 21. Stay tuned for more.
