After 3 years, South Korea’s BLACKPINK deliver highly-anticipated mini-album ‘Deadline’: Stream
South Korea’s global girl band are officially back—and this time, they are not playing it safe.

After more than three years, the global quartet have finally released their new mini-album ‘Deadline’. Notably, it marks their first full-group project since ‘Born Pink’ arrived in 2022. Since then, each member has explored solo ventures. Now, however, they reunite with renewed focus.
The five-track EP feels sharp and intentional. Sonically, it blends EDM, Pop and Hip-Hop. As a result, the project sounds both familiar and refreshed. It is bold. It is polished. Above all, it is unmistakably BLACKPINK.
The record opens with ‘Jump’. Previously released in Summer 2025, the hardstyle-leaning anthem quickly climbed global charts. From the start, the energy is loud and immediate. Consequently, it sets the tone for what follows.
Meanwhile, lead single ‘Go’ pushes that momentum even further. Driven by heavy EDM production, the track delivers a confident message. Importantly, all four members contributed to the songwriting. Because of this, the song feels more personal and unified.
Visually, the group matches that ambition. In early teasers, the members appear in dramatic, cinematic settings. For instance, scenes of crashing waves and surreal landscapes heighten the intensity. Together, the visuals reinforce their global presence.
Elsewhere on the EP, the group explores different textures. ‘Champion’ leans into punchy beats. In contrast, ‘Me and My’ softens the mood. Then, ‘Fxxxboy’ brings attitude and swagger. Collectively, each track highlights a distinct side of the quartet.
Ultimately, ‘Deadline’ succeeds because of its balance. The production is massive. The performances are tight. Yet, at the same time, there is room for individuality.
With this release, BLACKPINK do more than return. Instead, they reset the standard—once again.
