This week’s #5NewVideos list consists of Cardi B, Hodgie, A$AP Ferg, and more.
Hodgie – Caution featuring Lil Bizzy (Personal)
In April, one of the biggest public figures to come out of Lima, Ohio—Hodgie—released an outstanding video for “Caution.” The lead single from the entertainer’s latest seven-track EP (Street Lights) features fellow Ohioan Lil Bizzy and begs opposers to be careful. Watch the Khil Datta-directed video below.
Cardi B – Bodak Yellow (Personal)
On the night of the BET Awards, Bronx’s latest star Cardi B debuted her video for “Bodak Yellow.” When she isn’t entertaining us all on social media, she makes catchy street anthems. Watch the flamboyant video filmed in Dubai below.
A$AP Ferg – East Coast featuring Remy Ma (Personal)
Speaking of The Bronx and the talented women from the borough, Remy Ma joins Harlem-bred rapper A$AP Ferg for the anthemic “East Coast.” Personally, I think Remy Ma looks great; Her verse is stupendous. It’s no wonder she won this year’s BET Award for ‘Best Hip-Hop Female.’
Tyler, The Creator – Who Dat Boy (Submitted)
Leave it to Tyler, The Creator to bring the ratchet-crazy back to the screen. Lately, he and A$AP Rocky have been hanging out. Something tells me they are good friends. Watch Tyler sway and harmonize like Pharrell.
Kali Uchis – Tyrant featuring Jorja Smith (Personal)
In a fantastic pink trench coat, Kali Uchis sings about eye contact, love, and disappearing like El Chapo. Equally, Jorja Smith comes through in a swirly outfit. Watch the sweet new video for the Division production below.
