The Atlanta Hip-Hop star’s Leading By Example Foundation scales its financial literacy mission—now reaching ten DeKalb County schools.

21 Savage marked ten years of giving back on Sunday, hosting his annual school drive at Georgia’s Wade Walker YMCA. His Leading By Example Foundation handed backpacks, shoes and food to 2,000 families. The Atlanta rapper’s Bank Account programme—named after his multi-platinum single ‘Bank Account’—expands into ten DeKalb County schools this year. Built with Get Schooled and Juma, the initiative teaches teens budgeting, banking and saving before college hits.

The programme’s free digital arm, Bank Account at Home, extends the curriculum nationwide. Whilst most celebrity giveaways end with a photo op, this one builds infrastructure. Financial literacy, not charity alone, is the throughline.

Ten years in, 21 Savage’s model offers a blueprint: Pair Hip-Hop’s cultural reach with practical, lasting education—no strings attached.
