Dallas-born rapper Yella Beezyis continuing his ascension into a true problem in the Rap game. He and viral superstar Erica Banks (also from Texas, hailing from DeSoto) have linked up for the latest Southern club anthem ‘Star’. The track is equipped with a sample from the 1988 hit single ‘Da Butt’ by Go-Go band EU. The twerk-worthy anthem comes with a twerk-inducing video. The content of the lyrics are relatable and honestly makes you appreciate an artist like Yella Beezy even more. He stresses that all of his fame and success doesn’t change who he is at the core, which is something that draws fans to him even more. Erica Banks, fresh off of immense success with her single ‘Buss It’, which is behind the viral internet “‘Buss It’ challenge”, chimes in with a smooth, confident, and exciting verse.
