This week, Afrobeats living legends Wizkid released a brand new track called ‘Bad to Me’, which is the kind of song you keep repeating in the background as you live your life. At the song’s start, the Big Bird (as fans refer to him) sings about a woman’s body that can cause a migraine. Throughout the record, with a catchy call-and-response chorus, Wizkid gleams about the amount of money he has, wanting a certain type of love for the night and a bad gyal being addicted to him. For the single cover art, the ‘Made in Lagos’ artist holds some flowers close to his face, wearing dark sunglasses, a white shirt and nothing on his head. Listen to the record-breaking, history-making African icon’s Amapiano-inspired record below.

On Sunday, Wizkid headlined Rolling Loud’s first festival in Toronto, Canada. According to multiple reports, the ‘Essence’ singer was paid a million dollars for the occasion.
