We are excited to announce the new partnership between Warner Music Africa and Lacuna Creative Studios. The pair formed a synergy during the filming of the upcoming Inkabi Zezwe six-part documentary series, highlighting the making of Sjava and Big Zulu’s ‘Ukhamba’ album.

Speaking in regards to the new partnership, Warner Music Africa’s MD, Temilade Adeniji stated:

“As we continue to grow our footprint in South Africa and on the continent, the importance of expanding our footprint in terms of content (both long and short-form) in order to support our artists, labels, and partners cannot be understated. Our collaboration with Lacuna is an important step in building out this capacity for us as a business and we could not be more excited to dive into a range of projects that are already in development”

The South African based production company renders pre/post production solutions for TV shows, commercials and films, and they have worked with notable personalities and brands in the industry from the likes of Delicious Fest, Nasty C Ivyson Tour, to the Inkabi Zezwe Tour alongside Warner Music Africa.

Lacuna Creative Studios serves as a key player for WMA’s local and international repertoire, as well as mentoring and teaching aspiring young artists in the field of visual and story telling, through Warner Music Africa’s youth development program called Culture Shifters.
