Although we’re currently in the age of Drill & melodic rapping in Hip-Hop, there are still artists that put on for the classic New York sound. Gritty bars and effortless flows are splattered all over this fire track ‘Don Julio’ by Termanology and Shortfyuz featuring UFO Fev and Nems. The track is from their forthcoming album, ‘GOYA 3’, which drops on March 5 this year. The visual takes us around the concrete jungle to each artist in their element. It kicks off with Termanology doused in colored lights, surrounded by baddies. He compliments his money talk with a calm delivery.
Ain’t no Smack battle Rap, we just baggin’ yak
Antique lowrider sittin’ back to back
The visual then progresses to El Bario, Harlem where Fev matches the energy. He flexes a smooth delivery but witty punchlines.
I recoup, made all my money back on the stoop
Roll the finest of the fruit
Got head in the coupé
That’s the truth
I’d be snitching
I gave you anymore proof
It finally stops in Coney Island where Nems comes in on the attack with impeccable aggression.
I already did my time in the box so fuck Rikers
She ain’t even know fat niggas could fuck like this
New York Rap will forever hold its weight.
