As she received her thirteenth GRAMMY Award, making it her fourth and the first person to win that many, Taylor Swift took that opportunity to announce her forthcoming album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’. It’s something I haven’t seen in a while, like hearing the winners take time to thank God—outside of the obvious Christians in attendance.

In her acceptance speech, she dropped the bomb, “I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I’ve been keeping from you for the past two years, which is that my brand-new album comes out April 19.”

As promised at the awards ceremony, the global superstar posted the official cover art to her official pages with a following of over 370 million accounts. The now highly-anticipated album by one of America’s most powerful women will come out on April 19, 2024.
