Watch Liberian Afrobeats artist Spize’s video for ‘Melo’
Randomly, after watching Nigerian singers Konstance and Majeeed‘s video for ‘My Heart’, YouTube suggested another video. To my surprise, it belonged to a fairly new Liberian artist named Spize. In the song’s lyrics, he sings about falling for someone (Melo or Melody) special and promises to keep her smiling. Further into the song, he continues and states he doesn’t have time to break her heart and that her sweet love is his destiny. Check out the video below. It’s directed by Para Shoot, shot in various locations on the coast of Liberia, at the beach, aerial shots of Libassa Ecolodge, either Hermit Falls or Monrovia Canyon, and the bustling Benson Street, located in Montserrado.
