Soul Train Awards returned with its inaugural cipher.
The Soul Train Awards cypher features Tyrese, Ne-Yo, Angie Stone, Robert Glasper, Erykah Badu and the legendary R&B singer-songwriter Gladys Knight. If you’re too young to fully understand the importance of Gladys Knight, she was dubbed the ‘Empress of Soul.’ In the group performance, Knight and other gifted recording artists gleefully harmonize on “Neither One of Us” by Gladys Knight & the Pips’. Erykah Badu created the soul cypher. She is also the curator.
