The GRAMMY-winning star will launch the cinematic new project on July 31 and bring its world to life with a Stagecoach 2026 pop-up.
Shaboozey is entering a bold new chapter. Yesterday, the GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter announced his fourth album, ‘The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales’, due out July 31 via American Dogwood in partnership with EMPIRE.
The upcoming project builds on Shaboozey’s genre-blending style whilst pushing deeper into storytelling. Described as an expansive concept album, the record centres on Cherie Lee, a woman driven by revenge after her sheriff father is murdered by the Bootcut Boys. What follows is a tragic Western tale of vengeance, romance, and redemption gone wrong.
Shaboozey said the album has been years in the making and reflects his growth as both an artist and storyteller. He explained that whilst ‘Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going’ introduced him on a personal level, this new release is designed to show the full scope of his creative vision.
Then, fans will get their first taste of the album with the new single ‘Born To Die’, arriving April 24. He will also celebrate release day with a special performance at the TODAY Plaza in New York City.
Finally, to mark the album’s arrival, Shaboozey will debut an immersive ‘Cherie Lee’s’ saloon activation at Stagecoach 2026, giving fans a first-hand experience of his most ambitious era yet. It’s going to be epic!
