NPR Music shared Ryan Leslie‘s Tiny Desk Concert episode three days ago. It’s been several years since we were delighted by his masterful multi-talents seemingly dimmed in the public eye over time. If we want to be authentic with each other, the Washington, DC-born musical maestro could have easily contended Kanye West as they are as talented as each other.
Watch the performance below to hear the delicate vocals over the live instruments. During Leslie’s episode, Leslie performed ‘Diamond Girl’, ‘Addicted’, and more cuts. If you are unaware, Ryan Leslie was a young musician with a promising career poised to leap into superstardom. In the early 2000s, he ran an esteemed production company called NextSelection that introduced the world to Cassie—the popular American R&B artist linked to Diddy’s recent public downfall.
