Roc Nation (founded by Shawn ‘JAY-Z’ Carter) recently announced a new collaboration series with sportswear giant PUMA. The Roc Nation x PUMA collaboration serves as a follow-up to their previous iteration of the Mixtape Series.
This alliance comes together for the release of a collaborative sneaker collection honoring the mixtape culture alongside a list of content that includes:
- A brand new mixtape release bringing together the hottest artists
- A docuseries release spotlighting the intersection of mixtape culture and Hip-Hop’s icons
- An exclusive roundtable discussion featuring rap’s power players on and off the stage
On June 27, Roc Nation premiered the Mixtape Roundtable piece; a 32 minute long video that examines the legacy, influence, and future of the mixtape and also features former Roc-A-Fella Records A&R, Wayne ‘Wayno’ Clark, platinum recording artist and producer DJ Clue, media personality Nyla Symone, Harlem rapper Jim Jones, southern Hip-Hop pioneer DJ OG Ron C, mixtape mogul DJ Holiday, and creative visionary serving as Roc Nation’s senior Vice President Lenny ‘Lenny S’ Santiago.

In tandem with the Mixtape Roundtable, Roc Nation Label will also be launching a new limited content series celebrating and examining mixtape culture, tapping prolific figures in Hip-Hop. The content will also arrive in tandem with an array of immersive in-person activations through the summer to commemorate the launch.
