American business magazine Forbes announced on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, that music star Rihanna is now a billionaire, a lofty achievement made achievable in large part by her successful Fenty Beauty brand.
Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty is currently valued at $2.8 billion, according to Forbes. The brand brings in $1.4 billion for the Pop star because she owns a 50% part in the company.
Rihanna’s lingerie company, Savage x Fenty, also raised $115 million in finance in February, valued at $1 billion. According to Forbes, Rihanna owns a 30% share in the company after opening it up to investors such as JAY Z’s Marcy Venture Partners. Savage x Fenty reportedly accounts for $270 million of Rihanna’s fortune.
Rihanna is the world’s wealthiest female artist and the second-wealthiest female entertainer, after Oprah Winfrey, with a net worth of $1.7 billion.
