P-LO shares ‘Light This Bitch Up’ video featuring G-Eazy & Jay Ant

In a new GIF-ready music video for “Light This Bitch Up”, San Francisco Bay Area-native rapper P-LO joins forces with fellow rappers G-Eazy & Jay Ant.

P-LO

If you’re not familiar with the works of P-LO or the collaborating musicians, we’ll get you up to speed. According to an article published two years ago, the 24-year-old entertainer hails from an East Bay suburb called Pinole. He is a founding member of a creative collective called, The HBK Gang (an abbreviated form of Heartbreak). IamSu and Sage The Gemini are also members. P-LO is known for making Yo Gotti’s “Act Right” featuring Jeezy and YG, which made the 100th spot on Billboard’s Hot 100.

G-Eazy is a successful rapper from Oakland, also in the Bay Area. If you have a radio or ears, there’s a huge chance you’ve listened to his music. Currently, he has a song out with Chris Brown and Tory Lanez called, “Drifting” and it is from his sophomore album “When It’s Dark Out.” At the end of the month, he kicks off The Endless Summer Tour with Logic at the Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas, Texas.

Bay Area seasoned rapper Jay Ant isn’t as popular nationally, but he knows how to move a crowd. The last project he uploaded to Soundcloud is called “White Rabbit,” which receives production credit from P-LO, Tario, Adrian Per, Rollin Beats, IamSu, and himself. The project came out five months ago, so we hope there’s more solo music on the way.

From vivid murals dedicated to late rappers to celebrating local everyday people, the Filipino rapper-producer paints a picture of his turf and shows off the city’s legendary musical figures like E-40, The Jacka, and Mac Dre, and his HBK Gang members join in for cameos. This cut comes from his most recent extended play titled, “Before Anything.” Stream the 7-track project on Apple Music or download it on iTunes.
