Yesterday, Nigerian-American melodically inclined artist Obie Iyoha released a new four-track extended play called ‘Heyy.. Im Obie’. Emerging from the state of Michigan in North America, the ‘Flying Nimbus’ singer impressively flows between rapping and singing, blending his American and African cultures on record. ‘All I Need’, which happens to be the best track on the project to me, featuring GidiBoi Osas, finds the artist giving his lover complete access and all he owns and extending a request for his babe to put it all on him. The SSK production allows the listener to sit back and relax or do a strong two-step in a smoky lounge in Western Southern Africa.

On the third track, ‘Duhh’, the Edo State-representer mentions the cold weather in his city, flexing on folks, rolling with his bros exclusively and keeping his goals close to his chest on the XarBeats production. The last track, ‘Personal Bootle’, exposes his relationship with alcohol, his lack of support for bars and his support Asake, Burna Boy, and Davido.
