There are thirty-two teams in the National Football League. Seven of them have a record of 0-2, eighteen of them are 1-1, including the Greenbay Packers and New Orleans Saints, and seven teams are 2-0, including a few surprise teams like Teddy Bridgewater lead Denver Broncos, and Sam Darnold lead Carolina Panthers.
So early into the season, there are still more questions than answers for most teams. Leading his team to a 2-0 start, can Derek Carr continue this hot streak? Having one of his best starts to a season, can this be Tom Brady’s best season ever at age 44? Can Matthew Standford do what Jared Goff couldn’t and take the Los Angeles Rams to the Super Bowl? Super Bowl LVI will be held at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, giving Standford a chance to do what Brady did last year and win a Super Bowl on your home field.
The Dallas Cowboys may be a real Super Bowl contender this year with their upgrade in defense already having six takeaways along with high production offense lead by Dak Prescott. Primetime performer Lamar Jackson can not be counted out this season after beating rival team Kansas Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes, with an electric performance Sunday night.
With so many questions still looming, one thing we do know is the Tampabay Bucs and Kansas Chiefs are still top teams in the NFL. Can we see a rematch of SuperBowl LV this year in Los Angeles?
