Ghana’s M.anifest pays homage to Hip-Hop in latest release: Hear ’50 Years Freestyle’
At the beginning of the visual, M.anifest dons a classic Adidas track jacket in honour of one of the youngest musical genres and reminds us that the truth lasts longer than the lie. In the following line, the ‘Scorpio’ artist asks us to picture him rolling with the legendary American recording artist 2pac. Before ending his name packed verse, the Madina-native lyrical legend, who collaborated with Vic Mensa, Burna Boy and others, slams the myth that “every slum and village is the same”—calling it “a jiggy lie”.
