It’s been a while since we’ve received new music from Larry June, so today is a good day. The Bay Area rapper calmly raps about wanting a better life, working towards it, and staying focused in his signature style. The second verse is all about his lady and thinking about making an honest woman out of her. On the hook, which I believe he’s singing by himself, the lyrics details loyalty (“you know I fuck with you the long way”) and “living life fast”.
In the music video from his latest project, ‘Orange Print‘, he driving an expensive car and is seen sitting on the stairs with his lady in the next scene. The visual continues with kaleidoscopic scenes of him near other cars, his lady, and his friends.
