Stream JI the Prince of NY’s ‘Hood Life Krisis Vol 3’ EP featuring A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie
When I first listened to JI the Prince of NY, I sat there and questioned his name. “Is JI really the Prince of New York?” I asked myself and I think he just confirmed he is indeed the Prince of New York. The nineteen-year-old artist gives us an EP that is not necessarily something new or groundbreaking but, that is not a bad thing. JI is giving listeners songs that are very well done for the genre. Although A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie is featured on the EP, JI is creating music very similar to A Boogie. I would even put JI in the same field as Bryson Tiller, Calboy, Lil Tjay, and Polo G.
I would not be surprised if one of the songs off of ‘Hood Life Krises Vol 3’ EP pushes JI to that next level as an artist. We should be excited to watch this artist grow after the pandemic.
