“The collision was very strong.” — Governor Konstantinos Agorastos to SKAI TV.
According to Reuters, two trains collided in Lárissa, Greece and killed twenty-six people, and at least eighty-five people were injured on Tuesday. The circumstances of the crash are still unclear. Nearly 250 passengers evacuated safely to Thessaloniki on buses. Most of them were thought to be university students on the way back home from their holiday weekend.
