FIFA president Gianni Infantino announces new African Football League

“The African Football League kicks off next October”. This marks the start of the new eight-team African Football League that was confirmed for Oct. 20 by FIFA president Gianni Infantino, who made the announcement at the Confederation of Africa Football’s (CAF) General Assembly in Abidjan on Thursday.

The league was slated to commence in August but was postponed due to their intentions to rename the football league.
