The Hip-Hop icon brings a live band, a Salsa twist and a stacked guest list to NPR HQ.
Fat Joe finally had his “official” desk moment! On November 5, 2026, the Hip-Hop legend made his official NPR Music Tiny Desk debut at the NPR HQ. As tradition goes, a full band backed him, led by musical director Zo Harris. Remy Ma, Jadakiss, Stove God Cooks, Stevie Mackey and Dre joined the party.
The set spanned his career. Fat Joe rapped ‘Million Dollar Intro’, ‘New York’, ‘Lean Back’ and ‘All the Way Up’. He also revisited cuts from ‘Organized Rhyme’. Each guest brought fresh energy, whilst the band kept the groove tight.
His fans had a preview earlier. On June 2, 2021, he recorded a Tiny Desk (Home) Concert at his UP NYC store in Washington Heights. DJ Ted Smooth and Angelica Vila joined him. Together, they gave ‘What’s Luv?’ a Salsa twist.
Now, the headquarters show tops it all. Watch the full set on NPR Tiny Desk.
