EST Gee tells Apple Music Drake was originally supposed to be on the ‘Lick Back (Remix)’
It was suppose to be Drake too, but he went out of the country. He said he wasn’t really recording. But Drake hit me like, “Man, I regret not getting on that.” Thats how the structure kind of it came about because he was the third person on it, but instead I just came back in.
EST Gee tells Apple Music about working with Jack Harlow
Jack, he really doing it. He was doing stuff that people in Louisville never seen from a rapper from Louisville. He made sure I stayed focused, he’s a big part of me getting right here because sh*t be going on that will deter you.
EST Gee tells Apple Music about the possibility of a future Drake collaboration
Drake busy man, but he got the songs and sh*t. I ain’t pressing on him for no fees or nothing like that, I know he respect it and salute it. Thats all I need, I don’t need the song. I know he acknowledge that it’s something to be acknowledged. When it’s suppose to happen, it will happen like that. That might be on the next album. We might already have four or five songs. Ya’ll just wait and see.
EST Gee tells Apple Music about growing his hair out
When I got shot, I was in the hospital for like a couple of weeks, so I ain’t get no cut. You know, when I got out, I got shot in my eye. You feel me, so I had this big ass thing over my eye. You feel me, so I couldn’t get no cut. By the time I was thinking about getting a cut, I was like f*ck it. I’m going to keep it long.
