Yesterday, Doechii, the only female rapper signed to TDE, released the official music video for her uptempo club record ‘Alter Ego’ featuring JT (City Girls). In the opening scene with a cigarette, she lists why we should all go to the swamp.
1) It’s better than a resort.
2) Better than a spa.
3) Better than a city.
And you can do whatever you want since there’s no loss. On the captivating hook, the ‘Girls’ rapper sums up her verse as she rides through the swamp with a shotgun. The Miami-born star, JT, delivers a blunt verse to let her critics and haters know how unbothered she is and how she would rather spend her time earning money.
In all honesty, the hoes aren’t fazing them. If we were to guide you, we’d advise you the same. Check out the visual below, directed by Omar Jones. The song samples ‘Spread That Puss’ by Ayesha Erotica; It is currently #26 on YouTube’s Trending.
