South Korean it-girl CL (2NE1) crosses over with “Hello Bitches.” Supported by Justin Bieber and manager Scooter Braun.
CL, best known for leading and her contributions to South Korean girl squad 2NE1, serves some serious girl power in her new high-energy video for “Hello Bitches.” Being the first solo Korean female rapper to successfully crossover into the urban market, Chaelin Lee is one to watch. Visually and sonically, she’s like Nicki Minaj (cute face, small features, some ass and theatric attitude,) TokiMonsta (Asian girl swag and electronic dance music interest) and Ciara when it comes to the choreography performed in this video. Dubbing it a “street single,” the new it-girl pulls in the New Zealand-native ReQuest Dance Crew to dance with her and Parris Goebel to direct the video. Therefore, it is a moment you will want to watch more than once.
Accordingly, watch CL’s outstanding video for “Hello Bitches”:
As a matter of fact, Justin Bieber tweeted about her song. His manager Scooter Braun, who is probably managing her too, also tweeted about the song. CL, the rising star, is a risk taker, who looks to other female musicians for style inspiration like Lil Kim.
