Watch Parisian artist Black M’s visual for ‘On Va Yeke’

It has been many moons since Parisian rapper, singer and songwriter Black M crossed my desk. At least seven years ago, the budding French-speaking rapper of Guinean descent was on my radar when I contributed to MTV’s now-defunct subsidiary “IGGY”. At the time, the Sexion d’Assaut group member had released ‘Je ne dirai rien’ featuring The Shin Sekaï Doomams (now at 132 million plus views), and he was one of many Francophone artists I had the privilege of highlighting. This month, he’s back with a new song called ‘On Va Yeke’. On it, the PIAS star musician sings about losing his mind, luck and love, and the set and wardrobe choices are incredible, showcasing various beautiful brown skin tones.
