Today, BIA released her new EP—’Really Her’—with a lush music video featuring the extravagant reality TV star Nene Leakes. The song’s sample originates from Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta and shows the Boston-bred Los Angeles-based star strutting her stuff in a black latex outfit and other black-and-white looks.The project continues to display BIA’s incredible pen, and ability to deliver her verses with a punch and let everybody know that she raps for real—that this isn’t “blog rap” or “enhanced body rap”. Some things we learned from listening to BIA’s EP is that the fashionable entertainer does not fancy Gucci (“Do I look like I wear Gucci bags?”), she could rap on any beat (“OH NO”), and she knows people have stolen her flow (“FALLBACK”).
