Memphis, Tennessee-native singer-songwriter of Nigerian descent, Akoma Onwuzuruigbo, sings the blues on his incredible debut record ‘Messenger’. To my knowledge, Akoma Onwuzuruigbo is one of the rare musicians to release such a record as a debut. The only other person that comes close in my mind is Raury.
