The Empire star bares her soul, confirming the split from the Hip-Hop artist whilst protecting their toddler son’s privacy.
Serayah has confirmed the end of her engagement to Joey Bada$$, revealing “repeated infidelity” throughout their relationship. The actress shared a heartfelt statement on Instagram, explaining that choosing herself became “necessary”, rather than optional. Consequently, she’s urging women everywhere to trust their intuition. The couple, who first sparked rumours during the ‘Show Me’ music video shoot in 2023, welcomed a son in 2025 before getting engaged. Nevertheless, Serayah insists she won’t discuss further details, prioritising her child’s peace instead. Whilst the Rap world buzzes with reactions, she remains focused on healing—elegantly, and on her own terms.
