Stefon Diggs found not guilty in assault and strangulation trial
The NFL wide receiver was cleared of all charges after a fast-moving Massachusetts trial involving his former personal chef, Mila Adams.

Stefon Diggs has been found not guilty on all counts in his assault and strangulation case involving his former personal chef, Mila Adams. The NFL wide receiver spent the past several days in a Massachusetts courtroom after Adams accused him of assaulting her during an alleged pay dispute in 2025.
According to multiple outlets, Diggs had pleaded not guilty in February. The trial moved quickly, with Adams taking the stand and facing tense cross-examination before closing arguments wrapped on Tuesday afternoon. After about 90 minutes of deliberation, the jury cleared Diggs of felony strangulation and assault and battery.
Diggs reportedly showed little reaction as the verdicts were read. The outcome closes a highly publicised legal chapter for the former New England Patriots player, who was later released by the team to create cap space and is currently not tied to an NFL roster.
