Druski to host 2026 BET Awards, making history as youngest emcee
The comedian and digital creator will bring his viral humour to Culture’s Biggest Night live from Los Angeles.

Druski is officially stepping into one of Black entertainment’s biggest hosting roles. BET announced that the 31-year-old comedian and digital creator will host the 2026 BET Awards, making him the youngest emcee in the show’s history. The ceremony will air live on June 28 from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
Known for his viral sketches, sharp improvisation, and characters that often take over social media, Druski has built a lane that moves easily between comedy, music, and culture. His appointment also places him ahead of Kevin Hart, who previously held the record as the youngest BET Awards host when he led the show in 2011.
BET has positioned the night as another major celebration of Black excellence across music, film, television, sports, and culture, with Druski expected to bring chaos, laughs, and plenty of personality to the stage.
