The project marks her long-awaited return following the breakout success of ‘Tyla’ and ‘Tyla+’, which helped establish her as one of the most exciting young artists in global music.
The announcement arrives alongside the official ‘A-Pop’ trailer, where she describes the new era as “unapologetic”, “confident” and “global”. That message already feels reflected in the album’s early momentum. Its rollout has been powered by the Billboard chart-topping single ‘Chanel’ and the viral new collaboration ‘She Did It Again’ featuring Zara Larsson.
Importantly, anticipation for ‘A-Pop’ has been building for months. Tyla first teased the title in the glamorous video for ‘Chanel’, whilst later confirming that the album had finally clicked creatively during awards season.
