When we listened to ‘The Understudy’, we felt the record could easily get picked up for play consideration on American radio stations, serving rural and metro areas across the nation. If not there, it would go platinum in someone’s cosy venue or snug family room, as an oven bakes Sunday dinner. The mature effort, cultivated over several years, blends varied genres (modern Soul, Classic Rock grooves, and Smooth Jazz-leaning arrangements).
