Police descended on the Los Angeles residence of R&B artist Ray J early Saturday morning after an emergency call reporting a domestic violence incident, according to a report published on February 23, 2026.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department responded to reports of a battery domestic violence complaintaround 2AM at the Porter Ranch property. An anonymous caller described the suspect as a woman in a yellow outfit, but upon arrival, police found no one willing to speak about what had occurred. With no identifiable victim or suspect, the LAPD ultimately left the scene without filing a report or making any arrests.
The incident comes amid a turbulent period for Ray J, 45, who has recently been open about his ongoing health concerns. The singer was hospitalised for serious heart issues and has shared with fans that medical professionals warned he could have only months to live without significant lifestyle changes.
