Watch Nigerian global Afropop star Joeboy’s animated lyric video for ‘Adenuga’ with Qing Madi

Yesterday, Joeboy (26) released the official visualiser for his song ‘Adenuga’ with additional vocals from rising Nigerian singer-songwriter Qing Madi (17) with signature blue hair. In the animated treatment, the ‘Contour’ crooner takes on the role of Spiderman to steal love from another man, crippling and shutting him up with his sticky web. Next, the pair land on the rooftop where Joeboy dances for her. Shortly after the two start to dance together, as a hating neighbour dwelling on the top floor of the building attempts to harm the ‘Ole’ artist by pulling her feet. Falling to what could have been her death, Joeboy jumps off of the roof to rescue his darling and receives a deserved kiss. After witnessing all of the romance, the ending is humbling. Sometimes what goes around comes around, swiftly.
