“MX made me, tatted on my back”
Two weeks ago, Alternative Latin R&B artist Poe Leos released the official music video for her catchy uptempo track, ‘Asalto’. Standing on the rooftop with a Mexican flag on her back like a cape, the gifted curly-haired songwriter flows about being exceptional in Spanish. Throughout the video, viewers can see the young entertainer dancing in the midst of four people wearing black masks and performing from the comfort of a recording studio. Four years ago, GRUNGECAKE premiered the gifted Mexico-born artist’s track ‘Look At Me’ featuring Kay Dinero, part of Issa Rae’s Insecure (Season 4) soundtrack.
