XG, South Korea-based Japanese girl group, share live-action animated visual for ‘TGIF’

On Friday, XG released the official video for ‘TGIF’, which has amassed over three million views in the last 72 hours. The South Korea-based girl group danced in front of moving skyscrapers and floating animated eyeballs and promote the idea of perfection to its audience—being a ten and fly. As the video progresses, more images are on display; showcasing the whimsical essence of the group (colourful clothing, braids with beads, matching hair pins, and quirky-shaped contact lenses).

The track and video are from the group’s first mini album, ‘New DNA’, set to release on September 27.
